The future of U.S. radiology will be AI-orchestrated and radiologist-empowered.
DeepTek is proud to announce the appointment of Marcus McLemore as President of our U.S. Teleradiology Business, marking a significant milestone in our North American expansion.
DeepTek’s AI-powered radiology solutions are deployed across 1,000+ hospitals and imaging centers worldwide, with a scan processed every five seconds across our global network. Our FDA-cleared and CE-marked flagship platform, Augmento, serves as the National AI Platform for radiology in Singapore and supports public health screening initiatives across Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East — including tuberculosis programs in India, Africa and South East Asia , where we have screened over 2 million individuals.
As we expand into the United States, we are bringing together world-class AI innovation and deep teleradiology leadership to redefine diagnostic imaging delivery.
Marcus brings over 21 years of leadership experience in teleradiology and AI-enabled imaging platforms.
He played a key leadership role in scaling American Teleradiology Nighthawks (ATN) into one of the largest U.S. teleradiology providers and was part of the executive journey as the organization transitioned toward a ~$620M IPO. At Virtual Radiologic (vRad), he helped pioneer the first remote-only locum tenens radiology model. He later co-founded RadScribe, securing a landmark $200M licensing agreement with Radiology Partners, and Empower Radiology.
His experience spans operational scale, innovation, and commercialization — precisely aligned with DeepTek’s next phase of growth in the U.S.
The U.S. healthcare system faces surging imaging volumes, persistent radiologist shortages, and increasing clinical complexity. Traditional teleradiology models alone are no longer sufficient.
Under Marcus’s leadership, DeepTek will introduce its Agentic AI-powered Radiology Workflow Platform, designed to enable AI-augmented reporting across U.S. health systems.
Our platform intelligently:
The result: reduced administrative burden, improved turnaround times, and consistent quality at scale — while keeping radiologists firmly in control of clinical interpretation and final reporting.
The result: reduced administrative burden, improved turnaround times, and consistent quality at scale — while keeping radiologists firmly in control of clinical interpretation and final reporting.
This is not about replacing radiologists.
It is about empowering them with intelligent orchestration tools so they can focus on high-value decision-making and patient impact.
“DeepTek is leading the charge in making radiology smarter, faster, and more human-centered — with AI that helps radiologists thrive, not just survive. After two decades pioneering teleradiology and building AI-augmented platforms, I’m excited to help drive DeepTek’s U.S. expansion and bring agentic AI solutions to health systems across North America, empowering radiologists to focus on exceptional patient care.”
“Marcus brings rare experience — from scaling national teleradiology platforms to commercializing AI in radiology at scale. As DeepTek expands into the U.S., his leadership will accelerate our mission of combining agentic AI with human expertise to redefine how diagnostic imaging is delivered. We firmly believe that AI and clinicians must work in concert, and the U.S. represents a pivotal step in that journey.”
